It Only Took One Hole, But Tiger Leads the U.S. Open

Fifteen minutes. that's all it took for Aaron Baddeley to lose his two-shot lead over Tiger Woods. Oakmont's first hole, the toughest on the course this week, may not have been the best way for Badds to ease into Sunday's round.

Eldrick teed off first, striping a driver some 330 yards down the fairway, which probably didn't help settle Baddeley's nerves. And yanking his 3-wood into the thick left rough only compounded matters. He finally made on the surface with his fourth stroke, but rolled his bogey putt 10 feet past the hole. Two putts later, Baddeley was scribbling a 7 on his card, and worse, looking up at Woods on the leaderboard.

As the pair approach the 2nd tee, Stephen Ames and Woods are tied for first place at 4-over. I'm guessing that won't last.
