Way back in May, Michael David Smith wrote that golfer Greg Norman was in a tussle with his ex-wife over his estimated $500 million in the bank. Divorce laws being what they are in this country, that meant the former Mrs. Shark stood to gain half of the half billion (she ended up with just $100 million, which still ain't bad work if you can get it).
Anyway, Greg Norman has moved on, gotten back out onto the dating scene, and things have gone so well that he's getting married ... again. But this time, instead of tying the knot with some money-grubbing commoner, he's getting hitched to another washed-up, formerly important person in the world of sports: tennis star Chris Evert. But it gets better:
Evert, 53, and Norman, 52, both divorced their spouses recently. In September, Norman and his ex-wife, Laura, agreed to a reported $100 million settlement. Evert and her second husband, Andy Mill, divorced last December, according to Reuters.Because that's how Greg Norman rolls.
Mill was outspoken about Norman's relationship with Evert. "Greg Norman at one time was my best friend and ... I would have taken a bullet for this guy," Mill told Australia's Herald Sun in August. "But I didn't realize he was the one who was going to pull the trigger."

Too bad they aren't taking their champion skills into their new life together. They should show a little more class, enjoy their happiness but not be spiteful or mean and rub it in the face of both ex-spouses...think how the children (even if two are adults) of both feel when reading and hearing about how they got together.

Only would a twice married and divorced tennis player become engaged. Some people can never get out of the spotlight

So many jealous folks out there. I would take half their worth, one major win on the golf course or tennis court, and retire happily ever after! They look great together...and remember folks, its not what you do, but how you look when you do it!!

Amen to the user who congratulated them and then told all those others who were bad mouthing the couple to get off your high horse because they didn't see any trophies in your house. I liked both Greg Norman and Chris Everett. Hope for the best for them. Hopefully, they can learn from their earlier mistakes and make this union last. Really surprised me to hear about these two getting together. I don't follow the dating set alot.

Bravo and congratulations to both! Ms. Everett was not my favorite because she played against my favorites: (Yvonne Goolagong, Gabby Sabitini, and Martina!) Yes, still remember those days as well as the sharks amazing abilities during his healthy days on the PGA Tour. Amazing athletes each in their own right, so hats off and thanks for so much wonderful entertainment over the years of your careers.

Both Chris and Greg are quite interesting people. Just think, this could have been Martina Hingis and Radek Stepanek making wedding announcements. Now that really would have been "sad affair"

I'm a big fan of both. They've contributed extensivly to highly competitive sports. What they do off the course/court is none of anyone's business. Me, I'm very happy for them and look forward to them pairing up in future sporting events.

"Washed up" is mean language. They made the most of their abilities when they were young. How many people can claim that?
Let them live their lives as they see fit. Why do people think celebrities should live their lives to suit public opinion?
I wish them the all the best.

Memories of Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks.
I'll take Andy Mill.
Greg Norman has always been a womanizer.
Remember his week end with Clinton?

Losers? How do you call a man a loser who has 400 Million left in his bank account AFTER paying his money grubbing ex-wife one hundred million dollars? If that is a loser, then I wanna join the loser club too.

It is nice to read how great greg and laura are and how much money they have. It would also be nice if they would pay people (60,000 ++ ) for work they contracted on their private outback hideaway bar at HIS PRIVATE 9 hole course at the MEDALIST CLUB in Jupiter, Florida. GREG, you and Laura know what I mean.

Good for them. Those with snide comments ; Do you remember Chrisie or the Shark, or anyone else voicing their opinion to your choice of a date or spouse ? Mind to your own business. Your opinion doesn't count.
If the marriage works out for the best . . Great !
If it doesn't . . Still not your concern.
