When it comes to golf, I dare you to think of a more famous twosome than this one.Tiger Woods, who was in Washington D.C. for the inauguration celebration for Barack Obama, got a few minutes to chat with the president-to-be, and offered him the ultimate White House gift. A round with Tiger himself.
"He was very busy, so we didn't get to talk much," Woods said of Obama. "I didn't want to get in his way. I did ask him if he wanted to play golf and he said, 'I'd love to.' So we'll make it happen. I think the thing that impressed me the most about him was the way he carries himself. He has great leadership qualities, and his accomplishment truly embodies what's best about America. He represents what we as Americans have in common, not perceived differences."Tiger, can I suggest something? Maybe before you guys go out on the course, you could give the Leader of the Free World a lesson? And maybe see if Tiger's coach Hank Haney isn't busy because it wouldn't hurt to have him around for that loop-da-doop of a golf swing.
I'm also interested to see if this will be just the two of them or if they will invite some others to join the pair. I'm thinking, if you were looking to go all power, maybe Michael Jordan and Will Smith? Or you could put Charles Barkley in place of Will just so Barack isn't the worst golfer in the group. Or have the worst swing.
And then I'd hope that Tiger wouldn't mind playing some hoops with Barack after the round. Talk about a YouTube sensation ...

I sure hope Obama can play golf better than he governs. If not he is in for another embarrassing defeat.

Sounds like fun. And then he ought to play a round with Rev. Wright. Might be the chance to find out what he'd been preaching for 20 years.

Seems fitting that the most successful ones in their
respective fields could find time to share golf. What
else could show these two's dedication to honesty and
integrity more than a friendly round of golf?

GIVE IT UP FOLKS. THIS IS GOLF FOR CHRISSAKES. How's this though. Tiger 66. Barack 118. Tiger gives Barack 50 shots and Barack still has to buy the beers afterward.

Tiger tees up from the tips.... Barack tees up from the red tees. Final score: Tiger 66, Barack 118. Tiger still spotted Barack 50, and Barack still buys the beers.

What a great and fun idea. A day off for Obama, with all the issues he has on his plate in attempting to try to straighten out all of the mess left by Bush and his administration. Just two guys, no matter what their color, who both seem to try to do their best, at their chosen field of passion. A one-on-one basketball shoot out, I am sure would, also be enjoyed by both of them. Two class guys, working diligently to do the best they can, enjoying a bit of fun together. What idiot would deny them the pleasure?

Crazy, let's leave the politics out of it. Let's just say that two of the most accomplished guys in America are gonna go hit some balls. I wonder though... would the basketball tilt be competitive? Barack has more background in the game, but Tiger is a tremendous athlete and I know he's played some ball too. In basketball, my money is still on Tiger, but not with many points.

How sad that there are so many Americans that are filled with hate.
Racism is alive and well in USA.
Nothing is solved by judging folks by their appearance. America will decline unless we can figure out how to get along.
