Tiger Woods is back. What more is there to say? Woods will be facing a lesser-known Australian named Brendan Jones in the first round of the Accenture Match Play on Wednesday.
We will be live blogging the entire round, starting at 2 PM ET. If you have a minute at work, or want to know about everything that's going on at the Accenture (with a focus on Tiger, naturally), swing by and say hello. The action starts after the jump.

Golf is not a sport. Not only is it a great way to ruin a nice walk, it is extremely boring. Leave golf to hacks.

Remember, in 1984 Joan Benoit(-Smualson) had knee surgery; and then 6 DAYS later won the US Olympic Trials Marathon. Then a couple of months later, she won the gold medal in the inaugural women's Olympic Marathon in Los Angeles. And in April 2008 at the US Olympic Trials, she ran 2 hours and 49 minutes at 50 years of age (for a new world age group record). Let's see what Tiger will be doing at 50. But then again, a fine motor skill is significantly different than superhuman fitness over a lifetime. Although it will increase their pocketbooks, I bet most of the rich, old, fat, white boys will soon resent Tiger coming back. Wouldn't it be fun to see these pro golfers golf in skimpy running shorts and little racing singlets like we runners wear?

Reclaiming fame is what Tiger seeks,
so today merited an affirmative nod.
His dedication to anything he does is
a valued trait...one we could emulate
with renewed pride.
We're fortunate to witness rare, true
talent. He surely inspires those who
may consider golf a unique livelihood.
Interestingly, while others feel pres-
sure as a negative influence, Tiger is
motivated to embrace it to excel more.
He easily earns respect as exceptional.

for people who have never played golf, try this if you don't think it's a sport.hit a ball with a stick toward a 4 1/4 hole 5 and a half football fields away and get it in the hole in 5 shots, then get back to me
