It didn't quite start off like Thursday for Chad Campbell (right), but how could it? Five birdies on your first five holes doesn't happen very often.Campbell, the co-leader in the clubhouse after the first round, started Friday with two birdies in his first four holes. Not bad. In fact, thanks to a 10th hole birdie, Campbell got to 11-under for the tournament. But he struggled on his way in, finishing with three bogeys over his next seven holes. Campbell birdied the 18th to finish his second day as the clubhouse leader at 9-under. Chad's birdie on 18 basically ensures the cut will be 1-over for the '09 Masters.
But Campbell isn't the only story of the day so far. Kenny Perry shot a bogey-free round of 67, including a birdie on 18, to tie Campbell at 9-under for the tournament.
Perry's round was absolutely fantastic, with birdies on the first and second followed by a great two at the 12th. Kenny then made a birdie on 15 and nearly holed his second shot on the 18th which lead to a tap-in birdie for a bogey-free round of 5-under.
Campbell, to his credit, has looked very solid at times, and all of his bogeys -- sans the three-putt on 12 -- have been Augusta-like bogeys; meaning that if you hit it in the wrong spot off the tee, you're well advised to try and recover, but you should also understand that bogeys won't kill you.
Right behind Perry and Campbell is Todd Hamilton, who hasn't really been heard from on tour since his 2004 British Open victory. Hamilton is 6-under in the clubhouse after rounds of 68-70 on a day that was highlighted with an eagle on the 15th hole.
Tiger Woods is still on the course, playing his second round at even-par but with the two par-5s on the back nine awaiting. Woods is six shots back of Campbell.

Odd headline. He's dominating, but tied? How dominant can he be if he's not even clearly winning?
