A week and 450 miles later, some poor woman minding her own business in her Lutz, Fla. front yard wasn't so lucky.

Murray, who has played the Pro-Am numerous times in the past, said it wasn't the first time he hit a spectator with his shot. The 58-year-old comedian did not finish his round.

Actor Bill Murray hooked a tee shot so badly during a Pro-Am event on Friday that the ball sailed across a street next to the hole and hit a woman in her front yard. She was knocked to the ground and had to go to the hospital.Murray didn't see his ball dome DiMaggio, but when an NBC employee informed him that "... you hit a lady. She's down on the ground," he and his caddie took a golf cart to her yard where the paramedics were already attending to her. According to tournament officials, DiMaggio was lying on the ground, but conscious and moving.
Murray was on No. 9 at the TPC Tampa Bay during the first round of the Outback Pro-Am when he hit Gail DiMaggio as she was watching the tournament.
Ironically, DiMaggio admitted to Murray that "She was overjoyed when she saw me because she said she had come out to see me and her husband had just said, 'I hope he hits it over here.' "
It could've been worse, I suppose. And I'm convinced this is somehow Frank Caliendo's fault.
