Barack Obama Tees It Up

For the first time since having the word "president" precede Barack Obama's name, the leader of the free world went to the golf course to do what we all do ... try to knock a couple of shots off his handicap.

No word if the recent visit by Tiger Woods last week prompted President Obama to hit the links, but he was out at Andrews Air Force Base to play 18 holes with some work buddies.
Obama arrived at the course wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts. He shook hands with a few other golfers and waved to other onlookers before stepping into a golf cart driven by the course's general manager, Mike Thomas.

Joining the president were Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk and presidential aide Marvin Nicholson.
Barack didn't disclose his score after the round, but judging from this video of his swing, I'm assuming it wasn't real pretty.

Also, these are the things that cross my mind when I think of Barack taking some time out of the office to hit a few shots and relax. Does he get a hot dog at the turn? What game do you think he plays with the boys? if you're in the foursome of the president, what putt are you forced to give him? I'd say anything inside five feet is good for Barack Obama. I think he's the one guy you really want on your side if you're the Commerce Secretary. Just a hunch I have.
