Ladies and gentlemen, I give you John Daly 3.0! Yep, the above picture is Mr. Daly at the Open de Espana, his first golf tournament since ... OK, sorry, I can't keep a straight face. What in the hell is Daly wearing? Honestly? Is today some tribute to technicolor that I didn't know about?
The guy sheds 40 pounds (which I must admit, looks to be true from the photos) and thinks he can dress like Ian Poulter heading out for a night of bar golf? Jay Busbee at Devil Ball Golf does make a great point. At least he didn't go out sans shirt this time.
I think Happy Gilmore said it best about outfits like this -- "If I saw myself in clothes like those I'd have to kick my own ass."

Pasko, as usual, is clueless. Pasko continues to submit posts, saying that golf isn't a sport and golfers aren't athletes. What makes a game a sport? Sports require good eye hand coordination, stamina and athletic ability. Any moron would admit that hitting a round, dimpled golf ball, with an angled club, 230 yards onto a small green would require good eye hand coordination and a certain amount of athletic ability. Unless Pasko has tried it lately, he should go hit about 100 or so practice balls, then walk 18 holes in 90 degree heat. It's generally 5 - 7 miles, up and down hills. Also, in most serious amateur golf competition, you must carry your own bag, which generally weigh around 25 pounds. Oh and after that long walk in the heat, when you get to the 18th hole, you still have to be able to hit that 230 yard shot to the green and then have the nerves to make a 20 foot putt on a green as fast as asphalt. Oh, and do that 4 days in a row. And on Tuesday and Wednesday before a tournament, hit about 500 practice balls and walk that same 18 holes. Try it Pasko and then tell me how easy it is. I wonder if Pasko would admit that an NBA player is an athlete? If so, he should watch tape of Charles Barkley over the past 20 years, as he tried to hit a golf ball. Great athlete that he was, Charles Barkley never could and never will be a golfer. This is the case with many professional athletes. Try as they might, they just cannot hit a golf ball. Are week-end duffers athletes? As they ride in carts, struggle to break a 100 and drink beer while playing. No, they are not. No more than recreational softball players are athletes. Are professional golfers athletes? They have the power, eye hand coordination and stamina to play on the PGA Tour. Yes, they are definitely athletes. Case closed on Pasko.

Hey Pasko, do you even know what "debunk" means?
You attack the game of golf, yet can't take a little criticism yourself? Funny, when you turn on TV and see golf tournaments with the Pro-Ams, it is amazing how may former pro athletes are playing the game! Funny how guys play the game all their life, yet you claim it is not a sport!
Amazing!
