You remember Andrew Giuliani. Son of Rudy Giuliani. Played golf at Duke. Got kicked off the golf team. Ended up pressing charges against Duke's athletics department because he felt he was wrongfully kicked off the team. Case got tossed out of court, but not before the judge quoted "Caddyshack." Turns out he was a bit of a jerk. Yep, that Andrew Giuliani. Well, if you didn't have enough A-Giul in your life, The Golf Channel has your back, because the 23-year-old will be on The Big Break: Disney.
The show, which will air in October, is being taped not only on the resort's golf courses.I guess this is another example of bad behavior making you famous. Here is a kid that has been given everything in his life, and has acted like a child during the whole process, and now he gets a shot at the PGA Tour.
Contestants also are putting and driving at some other Mickey Mouse locations -- including Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Speedway. If Giuliani wins, he gets to go back in November to compete in the PGA's Children's Miracle Network Classic.
I hope Giuliani's game is in better shape than when he was at Duke. His scoring average while competing as a Blue Devil was 75.75, which right now would be two shots worse than the worst ranked golfer on the PGA Tour, Matthew Borchert.
Get to work on that short game, Andy!
